As of February 19, 2016, there will be some updates to the Fieldwire pricing system across our account tiers. We want to give you ample notice ahead of time, so that you can adjust to these changes and decide which account option is the best for you and your team’s needs. For some there may not be any change, and for others, you may discover new avenues to address your project goals.
Premium Tier Plans
Users with premium plans will still have an unlimited amount of projects, sheets, and users available. There will be an update in premium account pricing, however those of you who have already purchased a premium plan before February 19 will not be charged differently. To show our appreciation for your continued commitment, you will continue to pay for your Pro and Business Tier service based on the current pricing system that you are already used to. So for those of you who fall under this group, there will be no changes. It will remain business as usual.
However, if you switch to a different plan tier anytime after February 19, you will be subject to the new pricing system just like everyone else. So if you are a current Pro Tier user and have been thinking about making an upgrade to Business Tier, now is a great time to do so in order to lock in the current Business Tier pricing for your account.
For those of you who upgrade to a premium plan after February 19, the new pricing system will be as follows:
Free Tier Plan
We are dedicated to always offering a free plan option for our users, so that will not be changing. However, the Free Tier will now have some new restrictions placed on it, and those who remain on this plan tier will be limited to:
- 5 total projects
- 500 total sheets
- 10 unique users across your projects
As long as these standards are not surpassed, you can continue to use Fieldwire for free. If a user exceeds one or more of these limits, then upgrading to a premium plan will become necessary unless you delete some content to meet the new Free Tier limits. Since most of those in our community who utilize the Free Tier rarely go beyond these numbers, we hope this change will not disrupt your usual Fieldwire experience.
There are still several weeks before these new prices go into effect, so we recommend you use this time to weigh your options and make any changes to your account plan in these coming days. If you need assistance when selecting an account plan, please get in touch with us so that we can help you. We’ll also be sure to notify you of this price update again as we approach the day that the new system kicks in.
We thank you for your understanding as we continue to grow and adapt Fieldwire to best suit our community. Growth often means change, and changes such as these help ensure that we can keep providing the best service and continuously develop new features and integrations for you, our users. And speaking of new features, we have a lot more in store for you throughout the year. We released some significant updates earlier this month, and we already have even more lined up for release in the very near future.
If you have any questions about these changes, please feel free to reach out to us anytime at email@example.com so that we can help you.
