Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced, detailed oriented Senior Accountant to join our high-performing team in the global Fieldwire headquarters in San Francisco, CA or Tulsa, Oklahoma in our Hilti Shared Service Center. You will be responsible for Fieldwire’s general ledger and financial statements including creating and posting  journal entries, performing revenue recognition calculations and balance sheet reconciliations. This role will require you to get into the details, possess strong accounting skills, have the willingness to get into the weeds and the ability to build strong partnerships across the organization. What you’ll be doing

The primary responsibilities for our next Senior Accountant will be to:

• Responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and month end close.
• You are enthusiastic and a self-starter, wanting to get into the details, enhance existing processes; scoping, designing, and implementing new and scalable processes to support Fieldwire’s growth
• Be in the lead for all Fieldwire Audits (Financial, 401k, etc.)
• Be a sparring partner for the Controller and Head of Finance by linking business decisions to accounting processes and by delivering and improving previously established processes
• Perform all GL Accounting functions related to period close, including but not limited to posting entries, reconciling accounts, variance analysis, and management reports
• Identify opportunities for and drive continuous process improvement for efficiency gains, working with peers and cross-functional teams to implement improvements
• Responsible for all Inter-company agreement accounting duties
• Actively participate in projects & implementations within the group.

At Fieldwire, we’re looking for our next Senior Accountant to have the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA 
• Minimum five (5) years’ relevant professional work experience in an Accounting role
• Experience with SAAS Revenue Recognition calculations
• Strong problem solving, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail
• Analytically and conceptually savvy with strong functional expertise in Accounting and Finance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to changing responsibilities and priorities

Compensation

Total annualized cash compensation for a Senior Accountant ranges from $70,000 - $132,000 base including annual bonus potential. 

Where is the job located?

This role is based in beautiful San Francisco, CA in a hybrid capacity. Our office is centrally located right off of Montgomery Bart station. Easily accessible by all forms of public transportation. This role is also available to be based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma in the Hilti Shared Service Center.
