Fieldwire Announces Private Markups to Reduce Noise on Plans

Fieldwire announces its private markup feature, giving construction pros the ability to add private notes and markups on plans.

While we understand the importance of collaboration and transparency, we also realize that not everything needs to be shared. So we introduced a new markup color (purple) to give you more privacy.

Now, any markups you draw in purple will be private to you, meaning no other users on the same project will see them.

You can access your private markups from any device (web, iOS, and Android) and filter all of your markups by color. This is the best way to reduce the amount of potential noise on a plan and view only the private markups you’ve made.

As a project admin or member, you can change the privacy nature of your markups at any time by changing the color. Just right-click on the markup (or long-press on mobile), and choose ‘Details’. Then select a new color to make your markup public.
